Robin Bateman is the facilities coordinator of Tattnall Tennis Center – twelve courts located in downtown Macon, Georgia, where she coordinates tennis programs and leagues, is a tournament director, serves as a team captain, and assists junior teams competing at district, regional, and section events.

Bateman is a contributing editor for Tennis Industry (formerly Racquet Sports Industry Magazine), the communications director for TennisConnect, and an author and moderator for http://www.writing.com/ which is a site for writers. Bateman also freelances for the (Macon) Telegraph where she covers local tennis stories; TennisLife.com where she covers world class tennis events; livestrong.com and ehow.comwhere her primary focus is on tennis.

Bateman currently serves as Vice President of the United Tennis Writer's Association and on the USTA Schools National Schools Committee.
